Nio was pooped out!
This past Saturday evening we decided to take our boat out for a test run. This will be our real official Summer using the boat, (thanks to the Sawyers for the boat, wish you guys were here!) We went out to Camp Far West lake, about 15 miles from our home. We took my older brother and his kiddos with us, along with one of out friends Laura. The kiddos loved it. The water was probably 30 or 40 degrees but they just had the time of their lives. We'll be spending a lot of time out on the lake this Summer, and we're really looking forward to the warm weather coming. Nio was having the time of his life riding in front, he just grinned the entire time, it was so fun!
Then, yesterday was Maki my loves 38th birthday, we went to church, came home, Maki took a nap while the kiddos and I got his gifts ready. Later in the evening he opened his gifts and got some of the things he likes such as Monster(drink), Dr. Pepper, Tropical trail mix, Superman shirt and hat along with some nice shorts for Summer. He was thrilled with his gifts. We headed over to Daddy and mom's for dinner and family home evening with my side of the fam. We did his birthday cake there, all in all it was a great day! We're all doing great! Everyone is healthy and I feel tremendously blessed to have our little family. We had a fun family filled weekend!Great times! Well, I think we're up to date.
